You have been asking for the ability to handle inbound email as well as outbound – and we’re pleased to say this new feature is now in beta! Inbound emails – or relay events – are mapped back to a defined http endpoint so that you can process the inbound email on your own servers. We’ve also added new permissions to API keys to support this new feature.
Why is this handy? Since no one likes to reply to a “do-not-reply” mailbox, you can now more easily process customer replies by auto-generating an auto-response. While inbound emails are easy-enough to forward to a customer service rep or other monitored account as emails, automating a response is much more easily done by processing the http request.

Also, since you love the analytics available through our metrics dashboard, including our Open and Click tracking stats, we’ve now enabled you to use your own custom tracking domain rather than the default spgo.io domain. Setting this up is easy but currently a bit manual and is available to any customer with a Gold or higher plan.
The open and click tracking domain is what our link redirect uses to record the open or click before sending the recipient on to your website. While the recipient will likely never see the link tracking domain since that redirect happens in less than a second, some might if they hover over the hyperlink in the email message. Having a link tracking domain that matches your brand– something like click.yourbrand.com – is a best practice, gives your recipients peace of mind, and may improve deliverability.

Note, that currently, we limit one custom tracking domain per account but are working on having multiple tracking domains per account available in the next few months. So if you have multiple brands, you will be able to have a custom tracking domain for each.
